Sourced from Lyamungo Estate, one of four farms that make up the African Plantations Kilimanjaro (APK) estate, this lot is composed entirely of peaberries — a natural mutation found in only 5–12% of all coffee. Instead of two flat seeds per cherry, peaberries form as a single round, dense bean, known for their intense sweetness and concentrated flavor.
This washed, light roast reveals a cup that’s bright, sweet, and zesty with an aroma reminiscent of coastal air. Flavor notes of candied lemon, brown sugar, and almond create a cup that’s lively yet balanced, perfect for those who appreciate the nuances of rare single-origin coffees.
